The Ben Franklin PTO organizes many events throughout the school year to help raise money, entertain the students, and bring the Ben Franklin community together. Clothing Drive

Donations are weighed and we earn money for each pound we collect. Volunteers are needed to help bag and deliver donations.

3rd Grade Committee

Third grade parents and guardians work together to help give the third grades an amazing final year at Ben Franklin! The committee is responsible for the yearbook. Also, to generate funds to go towards the 3rd grade party, the committee is responsible for running a table at fall fest and throwing an additional fundraiser of choice.

B-I-N-G-O

Adults only bingo event. Cash bingo volunteers are needed to sell 50/50 tickets, check people in, and roam the floor as bingo officials.

Fall Fest

The committee will solicit yard sale and professional vendors, donations, organize activities, and publicize the event. On the day of the event, volunteers are needed to run games, 50/50 tickets, and work the activity stations.

Pasta Night

Families come out and enjoy a delicious pasta dinner and enter to win some raffle prizes including teacher experiences. Volunteers are needed to help with set-up, take-down, serving the food, and raffle prizes.

Fall Book Fair

The Fall Scholastic Book Fair needs volunteers to help plan the event and work the sale in shifts.

Kindergarten Teacher Appreciation Breakfast

A committee is needed to help put together a delicious and nutritious start to the day for the faculty and staff at Ben Franklin. Kindergarten parent/guardian volunteers are needed to plan the event and determine the best means for collection of breakfast foods or donations to fund the breakfast.

Holidays in Harmony

This event celebrates the many different cultures and traditions during the winter holidays. Volunteers are needed to help create stations in conjunction with their culture or holiday, help run the stations and run the gift shop.

1st Grade Teacher Appreciation Lunch

A committee is needed to help put together a tasty lunch for the faculty and staff at Ben Franklin. 1st Grade parent/guardian volunteers are needed to plan the event and determine the best means for collection of lunch foods or donations to fund the lunch.

Movie Night

Volunteers are needed for set-up, concessions, and take-down.

Family Fitness Night

Volunteers are needed to help facilitate group exercise and coordinate the event. Volunteers are also welcome to reach out if expertise in an area of fitness.

Prize Bingo (kids)

Family bingo night. Volunteers are needed to set up, take down, check people in, and roam the floor as bingo officials.

Book Exchange

This event provides Ben Franklin students with free books. Volunteers are needed to collect used books and help of the day of the event.

Applebee’s Pancake Breakfast

Volunteers are needed to help organize the event, check people in, and supervise.

2nd Grade Snack Appreciation

A committee is needed to help put together a snack bash for the faculty and staff at Ben Franklin. 2nd Grade parent/guardian volunteers are needed to plan the event and determine the best means for collection of snack foods or donations to fund the snack bash.

Matinee Movie

Volunteers are needed to sell concessions, set-up and take-down.

Spring Book Fair

PTO hosts events during the week to help get the kids out and away from screens. Volunteers are needed to help with the events which include a tie-dye night, game night, Aspiring Authors, and Popsicles on the Playground.

Summer Kick-off Carnival

Volunteers are needed to help facilitate games, sell concessions, set-up, and take-down.
